Overview
Valeu is a driver-assistance tool for rideshare drivers using Uber Driver. It analyzes ride offers displayed on screen and shows a real-time evaluation (R$/km, R$/min) to help the driver decide whether to accept the ride.
How it works
- The app processes offer details (fare, distance, time) displayed on the screen of the supported ride-hailing app, using Android’s Accessibility Service to identify and process the necessary information.
- It calculates indicators locally on-device and displays the result via an overlay window.
- The driver makes the final decision — Valeu never accepts or declines a ride automatically.
Important notes
Valeu does not modify, interfere with, or automate actions inside Uber Driver. It only processes displayed text to compute and present information. Valeu is designed following the Principle of Least Privilege, using only the permissions strictly necessary to fulfill its core functionality.
