Why Accessibility Instead of an API?

Overview

Ride-hailing platforms do not provide a public API capable of delivering real-time ride-offer information (fare, distance, estimated time) to third-party applications. This information is only available inside the platform’s own app interface, shown directly to the driver.

What Valeu does instead

Android Accessibility Service is used to detect and process the information already displayed to the driver on screen — the same information the driver would otherwise read manually before deciding. Valeu does not access any data beyond what is already visible to the driver.
